I used to struggle with accepting God’s unconditional love, mercy and grace for me. I felt that I must get to a place where I am “good enough” to enable me to approach Him and in return for Him to love me. I knew the gospel and I knew that God loved us first (John 3:16), but in my subconscious, I still felt too big a sinner to approach Him.
If you have felt like this, I want to tell you that you have full access to God, because it is all about Him and not about you. God don’t need you to be good enough to enable Him to love us, he loves you unconditionally (1 John 4:6, 16). We read in Revelations 13:10-11 that Satan is the accuser, but that the blood of Jesus triumphed over him. Whenever you feel that your sin is just too big and God don’t want you to approach Him, please remember that is what Satan the liar (John 8:44) and accuser wants you to believe.
You were made righteous by accepting Jesus us your savior and therefor you have full access to the Father (John 14:6). Nothing can ever separate you from the love of God (Rom 8:31 – 39). Please don’t let your sin stand between you and God, we are all sinners, and we are fighting the good fight (1 Tim 6:12).

Beautiful!
